Buffalo Park is a cricket ground located in East London, Eastern Cape. It is one of the home grounds for the Warriors cricket team, and the principal home ground for Border. It can hold up to 20,000 spectators.
Although it has limited stands and is the smallest ground, the picturesque stadium has plentiful grass embankments and a beautiful view of the ocean in the background. The stadium has adequate player facilities and has been an exciting venue for One Day Internationals (ODIs) and excellent night cricket matches.
As home to the Border Cricket Union and the domestic Warriors cricket team, the stadium first tasted international cricket in December 1992, when India defeated South Africa in the seventh and final One day International of their series. Since that time it has been regularly used for ODIs.
It was also known as Mercedes-Benz Park, thanks to sponsorship from the German motor manufacturer.
